I’ve just spent a month in Phnom Penh. Rather than publish an entire blog post for just one city, I decided to take a “photo essay” approach to showing my trip instead.
I really liked Phnom Penh. It was different than I was expecting. It’s more like a large town than a big Asian city, very laid back and calm for the most part. It’s much less organized and structured than Hanoi, giving it an almost summer festival feel, like everyone is in town for a few months and will then move on to a different place when it’s over.
Looking at the pictures is easy: click HERE to go to the Phnom Penh album in my SmugMug photo sharing site. Each photo includes a caption highlighting information about the photo, and the city.
I hope you enjoy them. I’ve just arrived in Bangkok and am clicking my camera through town here too, so those photos will be coming later.
Thanks for looking, and…stay tuned!
